Ray Bellm build

Former World Sports car champion Ray Bellm has instructed Historic RallySport to construct his new FIA European Historic Grp4 Escort MK1.We will be rebuilding a famous Clark/Mikkola press car Reg No AXG 824K which will include all the original stop watches. The car was damaged on the Jim Clark Rally and has been stored away until now, and is now being rebuilt for Ray. Ray intends to do selected rounds of the European Championship with this new car, which will be ready end of October. This will be the second Escort Ray has ordered from Historic RallySport Ltd after meeting Mark on the 2000 London to Sydney Marathon Rally. Ray won many events when he competed on the British Historic Rally Championship back in 2004/5, Ray also rented a Historic RallySport Escort for the 2003 East African Safari Rally in 2003 where Ray and codriver Paul Lanzante finished in the top 10,

Final pictures will be up loaded this week and then the car will be ready foer its first test at the walters arena in Neath on November the 8th, Ray is considering using the car on selected rounds of the FIA Historic championship in Europe.
